(predictable but right)...
For much less than £999.00 you could have a really good ibook, which would leave you extra cash to add more storage (for all that music), buy a cool remote control, get some good software (beyond the excellent stuff already included in the price), you'd not have to worry about catching a virus / spyware / etc... and it would just work!
I suggest you talk to Tiggerbabe, who invested into a Powerbook for DJ-ing and knows why it's better than the PC alternatives.
