Ok, maybe someone can solve the following: just got a Nano (yum) and loaded iTunes 6 onto my laptop. Am filling it with tracks and loading them onto the Nano, but the peculiar thing is that when I play music from my laptop hard-drive through iTunes it comes out wonky, crackly, etc.!!!!
If I play a CD through iTunes it's fine.
The music I put on the Nano through iTunes is fine.
But play music on the laptop and there's a problem. Any suggestions?
The IT guy at work has done a diagnostic on the laptop and can't spot any problems and his verdict is therefore that "iTunes must be crap"! I don't have problems when I play music through Windows Media Player but I have noticed that when I turn on the laptop the Windows wake up sound is also wonky. Is there a connection? I'd assumed this meant Spyware, but none found.
Help.
