As it's going to be the Windows version that Russell's using, that leaves me with few clues...
I'd guess that iTunes wants to decide for itself whether to use portrait or landscape depending on what "theme" it is using... Perhaps it is being stopped from doing this by a setting in either the page setup, or the printing preferences?
Or in other words... "I dunno..."
