I remember it too - but don't remember the "in" jokes, just that it was starting to gather some momentum when the plug got pulled - oh, and I remember the funny things that happened when you typed in 'Hipsters' not to mention some hilarious PMs I received from the mod/admin staff on the subject of 'Hipsters'.
ISTR that I had the dubious position of being the top poster - if only because the guy whose avatar was some kind of dog, in a scarf, with flying goggles went on holiday to Australia for several weeks and omitted to keep up his prolific post rate. Maybe that explains why I don't recall the "in" jokes - maybe they were all mine
and made perfect sense to me...
