There is a difference between those people who you know as teachers from special events, workshops, and so forth, and those who teach at regular venues on ordinary class nights. (Of course, some people are lucky enough to get teachers from the first category at their regular venues...)
Mick taught with flair and humour and oodles of style; she told everyone what to do with their left hand and how to make themselves more interesting and attractive as dancers. There are other teachers I have had over the years who make me thank my lucky stars I had Mick instead! |
I cannot think of a better teacher that I have seen, but less of the past tenses. She was in her usual top-class form last Thursday at Bedford. There were several compliments from holiday visitors on the quality of the class.
There was quite a few ladies I had not danced with before at St. Neots last week. I had no difficulty spotting some of the holiday visitors from the new regulars there.
