Yes I am a total beginner at Salsa, I have done five classes I think, but this was just a tiny bit of freestyle to pratice.
The ladies were saying to me just do the basic footwork all the time, then try the arm movements.
Viktor has said that the big mistake jivers make in salsa, is stepping forwards for a lady turn , in salsa it is backwards.
What of course you don't have to learn again is the lead and follow concept, as you'll know it through modern jive.
I wonder if Mr. Lizard is reading this and can give some advice on the differences?
