Nothing wrong with your carrot cake! Besides, it's not 'my' carrot cake. I'm using Beo's recepy (with a couple of changes, that is). But I'll happily bake a carrot cake, and that way you might have time to make the gingerbread that the crowds are demanding!
Personally I have a soft spot for your exceedingly gooey chocolate brownies...
