Are buggys & pushchairs just a refuge for a lazy parent?

Following on from the thread suggesting that if people want to have kids they should be prepared to work to support them I would say that if people are going to have kids they should be willing to carry them around until they are old enough to walk rather than block up bus aisles with their buggys (when they're not aiming for your ankles on a busy shopping street that is).

Is the use of a pushchair just a sign of a lazy parent?
