I just performed for around 1000 people in Covent Garden this afternoon for the St George's day celebration, third year running. Great time, jivers, swing dancers and morris dancers.
Lots of roses given out, even pearly kings and queens...
I think most English are proud, although sometimes hidden too far below the the "pc" level.
