| Re: How much is a cleaner worth? It can be difficult to get people to want to clean-up after someone else (especially when it comes to cleaning toilets!), and so pay has to be more to entice people to want to do it.
Just an FYI - we've found with our office that you pay for what you get when it comes to Sydney office cleaners. The current ones we have a shyte and they are cheap as. The previous ones were brilliant and were very thorough. Unfortunately management is too tight to get good ones.
Some dirty jobs pay additional bonuses - eg "dirt money" to make up for having to do the yucky work. Not sure they still pay these in Sydney now - especially since all the new pay regulations have come in.
So is a "waiting" job as dirty as a cleaning job? |
