This has been discussed on another thread, but I can't be bothered searching for it. Anyway, the answer is that when someone votes in a poll, the timestamp on the thread gets updated for the purposes of "View Latest Posts". However, the name of last poster remains whoever actually posted last, rather than whoever voted. Thus it appears as if you have just posted, but when you look at the thread it's just what you posted days/weeks before. Franck is aware of this feature, and I assume can't do anything about it.
