Images of dancers

I've just started a dance performance workshop and we had a selection of images of dance movements poses and things to look at.
Then we selected our favourite two. Them working in a group of three we developed a sequence of elements of the photographs the hands, the stretch of the body, the curl or the arm, what ever it was than had drawn us to the origional picture.
Finally we worked together to perform it for the tother two groups.

We developed a really strong sense of connection and I think that using the images to identify what it is you like and to model it is very powerful. The image is in front of you and you sculpt yourself into it and then your group tweaks your movement

Can't wait for next week but does any one know of a strong collection of online images. These were really classical black and white images featruring very famous dancers of whom I was blissfully unaware...
