And yes, they'll probably discourage beginners from asking you. Compensate by asking more beginners to dance.

I had my first feeling of.... we were all beginners once...... I was dancing with a gentleman who had it had only been his first dance and instead of just following through the moves i waited for him to do what he had to do...ie spin me... he thought this was a great help... I beemed! Its nice to not feel like such a newbie anymore and to help beginners! (feel the love)
