As a natural born coward the great push I recieved was the taxi dances scaring the hell out of me . Thus making sure I was dancing with somebody all the time, just so they couldn't get me again. No offence Ladies, your wonderful I know and I much apperciate the advice you have given me when you managed to 'catch' me . It was just I had so little confidance . However I'm not going to knock it I learnt fast.

Invite me to a night at The Tower with a crowd when I'd only been dancing for 3 weeks. We had a really good night and I made my bestest and closest dancin' friends that night!

They are great... not having much to compare them too...but they are still great!!! please note that all stickng up for and sucking up to can be paid for with dances!!!!

Before long, you know that you'll just be popping up to Perth on a Thursday too. And then there's Dundee on a Monday - that's not far. And parties all over Scotland, depending on which week of the month it is.

Before long, you'll be heading down to Southport, and Beach Boogie for the weekends and week long Modern Jive holiday camps.

I think the best thing that happened to me was John McAuley literally pushing me into the arms of good male dancers.. cause I was just too shy to ask myself...oh that shyness is hard to believe now! Thanks John for getting me over that initial hill!

But seriously, once I knew everyone was friendly and that I had a great laugh even when I didn't follow the best...I relaxed!
