Hello all

New to the forum so hello everyone & especially to those from St Stephens and Marcos in Edinburgh!

Been cerocing now for 6 weeks and really enjoying it. Biting the bullet and having a shot at intermediate classes.

Just a couple of grumbles:

Men with very sweaty necks who insist on doing the comb...please, I do not wish to wipe your neck for you...use a towel or wear a shirt with a collar.

Men with long fingernails - unexpected...please trim them. I have short nails by the way...

B.O. - need I say more...its unpleasant.

Other than that - Ceroc's fab!

Take care all - Chrissie

Hi Chrissie, welcome to the Forum

Quick tip for you, for the above mentioned!

After the comb, wipe your hand on the back of their shirt, then down the sleeve!

Hi Chrissie,
Being a nurse I am completely hygiene conscious, and don't like 'stuff' on my hands and didnt like the sweat at all, in fact it made me cringe, but I can tell you, that Ive been Cerocing for a few months now,I really, truly don't care.
Lory's tip is good cos you don't want to catch their hads with sweaty hands(from their necks) so you can do what Lory says as part of the dance.

Bill will become famous soon enough
Welcome Chrissie............................... glad you're enjoying yourself and good luck with the intermediates.

Hope you make it to the party this Saturday at Marcos - they are always fun and a great way to meet people and improve your dancing.

Be delighted to have a dance if you are there. I'm the rather hairy looking individual at the momet who dances with the lovely Fran.

Hi Chrissie
Nice to have another Edinburgher on the forum. I dance most nights in Edinburgh, so I've probably seen you at some point. Come & introduce yourself some time for a dance. ( I'm the big chap with the Elvis quiff.... )....as for the hygiene thing, I'm sure as you get to know the girls that have been dancing for a while, they will keep you right as how to deal with sweaty smelly men ......and who to avoid

Hey, maybe we could post a poll listing the top 30 posters. We could vote either 'weird' or 'wonderful'.
