It seems to me that 90% of chewers can’t chew gum with their mouths closed, so tend to resemble miniature front-loading washing machines on a ‘delicates’ cycle. Not particularly pretty, especially at close quarters. Any views? |

They claim it keeps their breath fresh, but it looks horrible.... Then there is the man who always keeps a half sucked polo on his tongue and never closes his mouth - almost as bad....

I have been known to have a mint or two, I must confess, but I try not to make a big thing of it, open-mouthwise. But, and this is the big thing, this lets me offer a mint in a "social" way to a partner with less-than-fragrant breath - i.e. "I'm having one, please have one too", rather than "Oh God, your breath stinks, please have a mint before I die of asphyxiation"... Of course, I can also offer mints in a social way anyway ![]() But chewing gum, no, yuk. |

Sorry. No one on this forum, obviously. |
