Move map

This was created a long time ago from inspiration in this thread: Bare Minimum Moves

It's a visual representation of some of the 'basic' moves and how they can link together to go from one move to another.
Don't know if anyone will find it usefull, but they may...

Re: Move map

I am scratching my head wondering why "the great unregistered" have the technical ability to say anything to anyone about something that they probably know nothing about?

A refresher is always a good idea, as the "Ceroc half-life" is probably a couple of years (comments?).

For the "great unregistered", the latter of which seems to be sleeping, the "half-life" is normally applied to the degredation of radioactive materials and conforms to the "exponential distribution"....this involes "integration" and very special numbers like "2.71...." and lots of other very interesting and immediately applicable concepts to dance. Now I hope I AM sending everyone to sleep!

Of course "degradation" could result in obtaining a beer belly or transmuation of dance form to Lindy-flop.

How about a "top hunderd useful threads for newbies"?

I assume you noted the time of the posting! Daft.

Thought you had something similar on your website JiveO? I certainly remember getting a screen print, or download (or something) at some stage. It actually helped me meld the various moves together in my imagination as a fluid pattern: maybe it's my peculiarity of spatial awareness. Or something.

Yes - I offered web-space for Gadget's diagram. Still there at www.jiveoholic.org.uk under "Other" and "alternative jive map".

On the subject of maps, under Moves then "Jive Move Map" there is a different mapping idea.

Ah yes - didn't spot the tag top right. Credit to the author. The other one (yours?) is similarly useful. Now to try and marry the two without getting my twickers in a complete knist.....
