Any Pratchett loving Ceroccers out there?

I've just got up to Carpe Jugulum.

I don't think the Pratch likes the aristocracy very much.

One new regular character introduced as well as the mac Feegles. Not sure how I feel about them. I think the Pratch loves Scots dialects but they're a bit too much like Monty Python's Scotsmen in a kilt for my taste.

No..
But then I am the sort of person who stands on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting "All the Gods are b******s

Anyway.. When your parents come from Scotlands Book town (Wigtown btw) the sheer density of second hand bookshops in the town means you do occasionally find banana skins and bits of orange hair on the shelves.

Re: Any Pratchett loving Ceroccers out there?

I actually picked up the first Discworld novel from WHSmith and have yet to read it - I'm terrible for buying books then never looking at them again. I'll have to make an effort to read it over the holidays, as well as the many other books I've neglected.

The Colour of Magic is very different from more recent books. It is much more of a parody of different fantasy novels. Quite often Mort (book 4) or Wyrd Sisters (book 6) are suggeted as good starting points.

http://www.lspace.org/books/reading-...des/index.html has an interesing graphic with a suggested reading order. In fact Lspace.org has just about everything you ever wanted to know about T. Pratchett and the Discworld.
