Whats the weirdest thing you have put in your mouth/eaten?

Inspired by Woodfaces recent shoe licking episode (and because it's Friday) I'd like to know what is the weirdest thing you have had in your mouth/licked/eaten.

I once sucked and almost ate a bathroom sponge. I sucked it for hours, because I was pregnant and had a craving for sucking sponges.

I also (when pregnant) developed a penchant for the spongy wet bit of bathroom air fresheners.

It's not me personally, but my sister-in-law use to chew pumice stones when she was pregnant. What is it about bath things eh?

Tabasco Sauce is good. as is crushed chilli flakes.

Once ate a whole schwartz tub of crushed chilli flakes to prove it could be done. Really didn't feel right for weeks.

I also ate 50 odd snowballs (marshmallow covered in chocolate and coconut) in less than an hour for charity.

fried Goats testicles. Bit like liver

Hubby as was is Arab. He loves lebanese food. When we met 20 years ago, he took me to a resturant and said that one of the dishes in front of us was goats testicles. There were some little round ball things (which turned out to be some sort of sausage) in a dish and i avoided these all evening. I did however, really like a liver dish and ate most of it.

You guessed it, they were the testicles. Very nice i must say but could not eat it if i knew it was that.

I have eaten Chocolate coated grubs, deep fried locusts, and some squidgy raw (but served with slice of lemon) snot like sea creature that defied description (it wasn't a shellfish.. it was some jelly like thing.. a delicacy apparently. Although I am still convinced that Someone with a cold sneezed onto a small plate!)

this was at a food bazaar (or should that be Bizarre?) fete when I was at college.

More conventional foodstuffs.. I am reputed to make the hottest chilli anyone has ever eaten. (Advantage of having congenital anosmia you see.. my smell is gone and my taste buds are somewhat limited.. over years of eating spicy food to compensate I have developed a certain.. tolerance to chilli .. although ODDLY enough NOT curries!)

I did (accidentally) eat a lego man once when I was a kid.

I ate a large spoonful of grren stuff at a buffet in Las Vegas thinking it Guacamole. It was japanese - Wasabi. It didn't stay down long

I've eaten horse, snails, crow pie but the wierdest things must have been fairy liquid on bread, ohhh and a mates bogey when I was at school for a bet (I won the grand sum of 50P - it was a large one and it took some chewing so I think I earned the cash)
