Whodunnit

Well, it's a few hours over 44 years since President John F. Kennedy was killed by at least one bullet in Texas.

The pressing question remains, who did it? Was Oswald a patsy, set-up to take the fall for a conspiracy or a lone gunman. Now's the chance to put forth your theory.

There are a lot of theories, but the main candidates are:

The CIA - they felt betrayed by the President's handling of Bay of Pigs.
Anti-Casto Cubans - for much the same reason as the CIA.
The Mafia - there are links between the Kennedys and the mob that many felt JFK betrayed.
The FBI/J Edgar Hoover - it was well known that Hoover and the Kennedys hated one another. Perhaps Hoover had had enough.
The Military-Industrial Complex - either captains of industry and/or senior military were worried about Kennedy's attitude towards Vietnam - that he might scale back involvement, thus robbing the generals of their favourite war and the industry of a lot of profit potential.
Lyndon Johnson - a simple grab for power by the VP (who, again, hated the President).
Fidel Castro - a fairly simple assassination by a foreign, enemy power. The Kennedy administration really disliked the Cubans.
The Russians - ditto for the assassination. Khrushchev and Kennedy weren't particularly good friends either.

But, wait... there's more. Perhaps it was a conspiracy involving more than one group. Who said it was just one of the above...

So, take your vote and share your theory: Who Killed Kenny?

It's a multi-selection poll, so that's not unexpected.

My own opinion is that there could well be something more to it that LHO, acting alone, but beyond that, I've no idea.

The trick is not to take them seriously. And, when another person does take them seriously, point and laugh.
