Chicken poo as a burglary deterrent

Just found this on the BBC site. Perhaps the railway sleeper is going a little far in "reasonable force" but chicken poo. I think it's a great idea.

What would you use?

I love the idea of hurling poo at would-be intruders. I'd be more tempted just to keep a great big German Shepherd and let it do the security, though...

Chicken poo is truely evil stuff, having run up a mound of earth, only to find out it was chicken poo and fallen head first into it... Let me tell ya... it ain't nice!!!
