Lee Jasper - Do you send saucy emails at work?

I am amazed at the press and readers letters in London newspapers who vehemantly attack Lee Jasper.

He resigned from his job at City Hall, London because he sents some saucy emails to a woman whom he had a buisness relationship with. they were intercepted by a third party.

Even the woman herself says it was just banter.

Anyone would think he had done something serious.

He has not murdered anyone

He has not misappropriated any funds

He has not had an affair

Is Boris behind this, at a crucial time in the Mayoral Race when he wants to replace Ken livingston (Lee's boss) as London mayor.

Do you send saucy emails at work?

Re: Lee Jasper - Do you send saucy emails at work?

Had to read up on this... Such trivial local matters haven't reached the Scottish press...

It looks like though he resigned, not so much because of the emails, but because he appears to have been putting money towards organisations that his "darling" was involved in, without declaring an interest.

So, maybe he has "misappropriated" funds, and it certainly looks like he'd liked to have had an affair, even if he didn't. (I don't think that alone would have been a resigning matter though.)

As for sending saucy emails at work – I have done, but not using either my, nor the recipient's work email address. That's what hotmail, yahoo, and google mail are for.

Re: Lee Jasper - Do you send saucy emails at work?

Have done in the past. My last boyfriend got himself into trouble at work when he sent me a fairly innocent email but entitled it "Hello sex kitten" His work porn filter picked up on it...

Can't access other email accounts from work so if it's not a PM via the CS website or a work email...I'd be out of luck!

The readers letter were all focused on the saucy emails, not the "misappropriated" funds. I don't normally read reader's letters, as it's mostly morons that write in.

There was not one letter which took the view that the emails were banter. I wondered if those letter had been discarded if any were recieved?

Before email was invented, I remember being chatted up a lot on the office phone on work related phone calls.
