Clothes 'tabs' for Hangers

The long thin strips that have appeared in our clothes the past couple of years for hanging your clothes on hangers ............. they are driving me mad

Only about 10% are worth keeping there - most of the time they keep slipping through and hang out your clothes

That date is recognized as her official birthday.

First thing I do, is cut out those and the labels on the neck of my new clothes purchases. They drive me nuts!

Re: Clothes 'tabs' for Hangers

They can have their uses... I sometimes wrap ones in the shoulders around my bra strap to stop the top from slipping off my shoulder.

But largely I cut them off. It's more efficient to sew a piece of tape into the strap with a popper so you can loop it around the bra strap. If it's a real problem that is.

Snap! I think i'm a bit sad though, as I have a drawer full of 10inch long silk ribbons.... I'm sure i'll find a use for them one day!

I hate seeing people lables hanging out of their tops or backs of lowcut trousers! I can't understand why don't cut them off

I always want to go and tuck them in! I sometimes cut them out (always tend to cut the hanging tabs off unless they are really needed to hang the garment up properly).

Once though I hadn't and was wearing a Morgan top - you know how they have really big labels? I was dancing with someone at SP (Jonathan the masseur) and the label was sticking out - he did a move where he moved me in front of him with my back to him, tucked the label back in, and moved me back around again - all perfectly in time with the music!

Hey, guys.

Women can talk about absolutely anything, innit?

Frst guy: "So, these labels in my shirts, they're a real nuisance. What do you do about them?"

Second guy: "Get away from me, you freak? Labels?"

I tie the brightly coloured ones on the handle of my suitcase for easier identification on the baggage carousel.

If you have one the right length then you can tie it on your fan as a wrist loop.

Need more ideas though as I still have lots at home

I hate labels too! I just snip them off or use my quick unpicker. Jennifer's idea for using them as luggage i.d. is a good one - must remember that
