Seems he was born a woman and kept his reproductive system, so it's not so odd.

The baby will have two parents who are married.

How did he get pregnant though, if he is now a man? Surely he would now have a penis or otherwise how could he be defined as being a male. So how on earth did the baby get made?

(I thought I'd already learnt about the birds and the bees years ago!)

The article says he stopped sex change treatment and his periods returned.

He's been pregnant with twin through artificial insemination, but lost them

His wife has had a hysterectomy so she can't have kids.

It doesn't explain why he is legally a man though does it?

I think you have to live two years as a man before you are allowed the reconstructive surgery. I don't think they all have the penis added. There is a choice.

No doubt he/she will make a fortune appearing on Oprah, Montel, Jerry Springer, so everyone can gawp.

Bearded ladies I've heard of, being exhibited in travelling freak shows, but this is going to extremes. At least TV means the freak show saves on petrol.

From what I understand penis construction surgery is still not particularly successful, so a lot of transmen only have surgery to remove the breasts. Instead hormone therapy takes care of a lot of the secondary sexual characteristics (such as facial hair, more muscular physique, deeper voice etc).

You can debate what is and isn't a *man*, but in this instance he is legally a man, and until choosing to stop the hormone therapy and get pregnant, was living as a man.

Can we actually be sure God rersted on the 7th day... or is there documentation that states this was when he made hermaphrodites/transsexuals/hairdressers....
