I’m going through a long over due divorce and my solicitor never gets back to , wether its e-mail or phone or letter. I’m going to ask who I can complain to today


What makes its worse is that the original solicitor (same firm) was taken off my case by making a very big error. I’m sure I still get a fat fee

I wonder who are the worst my list includes

Solicitors
Estate Agents
British Gas
BBC License (actually when I phoned they said sorry we are very busy call later and phone cut off)


In my field if a ‘customer’ phoned e-mailed chased and I ignored them id be hung out to dry

The worse of the lot are the

The Ombudsman

To be fair they do say after 8 weeks (via letter)

We are very busy but will let you know when we ‘appoint someone’ to look into your case

British Gas have been the worst for me. When I was moving house, the woman I spoke to transferred the accounts and set up lots of 'homecare' contracts in my husband's name. He's in the merchant navy and away for months on end, but they refused to discuss it with me, saying my husband hadn't given permission (no, he hadn't, because he'd never, ever spoken to the bams in his life and he wasn't their customer!) but they were still taking the direct debits from my account. Their behaviour after I complained was horrendous.

Never used an estate agent as I've ever bought and sold property in Scotland...

"he's a perennial batchelor" is a common utterance/complaint in Yorkshire.


perianal - part of the body near the anus.
