Desmond Tutu has joined the campaign opposing the extension of detention without charge from 28 to 42 days in the UK. Isn't it a dire situation when the UK government - which once pushed for civil liberties in South Africa - is now the target of overseas campaigners calling for the protection of civil rights in the UK. |
