April Fools Day

As you may well know by now.. it's April Fools Day. Those of you who forgot, well thank me later for making you aware!

So, has anyone YET had any practical jokes played on them? or perhaps has some fab ones to play on someone else?

Hurry though.. there is only an hour and 45 minutes to go!

Re: April Fools Day

Two ... Mr & Mrs Smith (the boutique hotel company) sent out an announcement this morning saying that Buck Palace is opening up one of its wings for visitors to stay - so it would be the sole agency for the poshest B&B in London. Activities include corgi walking and Q&A sessions over tea with the likes of Princess Anne and Camilla. And a photographer on a professional forum I'm on who said he's giving up digital and returning to film. It became apparent that he was telling porkies when he (A) said he paid £1500 for equipment he could have got for £1000; and (B) he said he had booked six weddings in 10 days.

The Metro has the BMW joke (page 3) and the LLama joke (page 8) - unless the "down south" edition has no sense of humour or you thought they were serious The one about BA promising to return 28,000 bags to customers who lost them at the new Terminal - is not a joke

A friend convinced her boss she was late for work because the Clifton suspension bridge had fallen down

He fell for it as well, and they took time off work to go a have a look

I came across the term "rickrolling" before 1st April - didn't find out what it meant until yesterday though. So I don't think that news report is a hoax.

YouTube's jape of the day was that all their "Featured Videos" were rerouted to that Rick Astley video yesterday (hence Steven666's comment in the "last 24 hours" thread).

Actually my whole company is still officially on ie6. But the current workaround is the first sign of any web issue is to put firefox on the pc. But management are threatening an end to that when we "upgrade" to vista
