I left my umbrella at Hipsters last night...
it's black with a red pattern around the edge, and was left at the back right of the room (if you have your back to the stage). I don't suppose anyone picked it up/handed it in did they?

I guess umbrellas are pretty boring - anyone left anything more interesting at a Ceroc venue over the years...?

Have tried lost property - i.e. the venue manager ...???

Failing that, how much can an umbrella be worth - bloody hell - I'll buy you a big golfing one from Sport and Soccer for £3.00

's more an inconvenience thing than anything - and I can pick it up on Friday if someone has it. If not I'll have to go buy another one, which OK, is only about £10-15, but I'd rather not spend it if I don't have to.
Some of us are poor!

(Oh and thanks for the offer, Gordon , but I won't be able to fit a golfing umbrella in my handbag, I'm not Mary Poppins - well, not yet anyway )

Oh now you've reminded me, I'm back in mourning, but I'm not even going to check the remaining one to see if it was the left or the left one!

I once left a fleece behind in the main hall at a w/e dance, I remembered about midday the next day and went searching for it. After giving up, I came across this rather odd guy, sitting in the sunshine drinking a cup of tea, and wearing an identical fleece. I said, "that's strange, I've got a fleece identical to that one, but I left it behind last night."
He replied "Yes, this is it, I got locked out of my chalet, so borrowed it."
I guess you had to be there and see his "this is mine now" expression, to realise how odd his response was.
