How the body dances

"A dancer's craft can be broken down into a few core skills. Training strengthens those skills but it's genetics that determines what you can really do"

Dead right!!!! .... and it helps! {IMHO} like any other sort of ('specially free)body movement helps .... Tai Chi, Aikido, martial arts .... sking, diving ... ballroom, argentine tango, morris dancing (For god sake don't ask how I know!!!! ), african.

Personally, I don't go for ballet at all .... it seems very unnatural and constructed, and physically damaging over time! [not that Morris Dancing isn't!! ]

But .... if it helps nurture more confident and expressive dancers and dancing, then I'm all for it!!!
