Places to stay when dancing away from home.

There are many people I am sure who, like us, travel all over the place to go dancing , on many occasions this entails an overnight stay. How hard it can be sometimes to locate decent reasonably priced accommodation. We have used "smoothhound" accommodation seach engine and come up trumps on occasions, but not always.
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on the subject? In addition, would it be feasible I wonder, to find fellow jivers who are willing to put up travelling dancers in their area and how would you create a directory for this...(BedRoc! maybe)) we also could do with a directory of hotels, guest houses ,B & B. that have been used by the dancing community and are up to scratch.. and maybe a contact in a particular area that can advise. Sounds like a logistic nightmare ..... but there are some clever sods out there.....

I have an spare room that can sleep 2/3 (if sleeps two, futon can be moved to another room to sleep another 1/2)

Funnily enough, I was only thinking about this a few weeks ago! I was thinking about a week-end in London, but now that you Guys up North may be willing to accomodate some MJ folk, I think I will have a look at what's on!!!

PS - we occasionally put people up, but we have a small house and two children, so it is a bit tricky, but do give me an EMail and we will see what we can do!

}. Unfortunatly I'm miles away from civilisation, have a muggle wife and three children under 4yrs. Hell, even I have doubts about staying there sometimes!
