Every Saturday classes with Chad and Melanie:
7:30-8:15pm Beginning East Coast Swing
8:15-9:00pm Intermediate Lindy Hop

Every 2nd and 4th Saturdays:
7:30-9:00pm Intro to Lindy Hop with Ken & Jennifer

I've not been myself but I've heard good things about it. Jesse Miner DJ's at the Doghouse on occassion and he is one of the top lindy DJs in the world.

thanks for that, hopefully I'll make it and the natives will be friendly to foreign girlies who look the part but have lousy, (if well shod) feet!

well home again and have to admit I didn't go!! ..kinda had a better offer and went up flying a cesna around Mount Diablo!!
Weather in the Bay area was sunny and clear and pushing 30 degrees Wed, Thur, Fri and Sun, but Sat when we had the plane was hazy and cloudy so couldn't fly over the city itself.

Anyway, back to the point, I DID find a dance shop (on Mission St in the 600s) that had a line of tango shoes that I have never seen before! Quite high but beautifully soft leather, I refuse to be drawn on how many colourways I decided I needed... ...won't be to everyone's taste but not more than a fifteen min walk from the centre of town so if anyone was passing, I think they even had a few pairs suitable for LEroc .....oh and lots of lycra outfits, but, disapointingly few sequins, they seem to think dancers grow out of sequins at about age nine over there

Oh, and there were men in lederhosen loitering outside...
