Rep Power: 4  |  Anyone want news from NZ? I figured it was about time I 'fessed up on the forum (especially as Adam keeps asking me if I've told you all yet...) Matt and I are now certified Ceroc teachers...  AND We have just bought the Christchurch Ceroc franchise.  It's ours as of today.  Really, we are very excited.   We're looking forward to doing things the way we like them (ah - the power!) and hopefully we'll jazz it all up a bit. Thanks goodness we have Adam and Mandy in Wellington breaking the ground. We've had various visitors from the UK here over the last few weeks which has been fun. (Not that I knew any of them). If only they could stay a bit longer. Missing you all lots!  |

I'm aiming to cram as much dancing and chatting with you all as I can into the second week approx... and more if I can. (I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of wedding photos from a number of you too!) And yes Gus, I hope we'll catch up at the Champs in Auckland! We intend to be there. I guess I'd better get organising to do that. I haven't entered (yet) because I don't think I can convince Matt to start at Advanced A... and lets just say I haven't found another suitable dance partner here yet... (Our work in the franchise is certainly cut out for us!) And of course we'd love to see any of you who make it down this way! BTW I just got a copy of the Jive Masters DVD that works, I can't wait to watch it all the way through - several times... its so nice to see so many of you in there.  |

Rep Power: 4 |  The Prime Minister of New Zealand I am SO excited! And who better to share it with than you guys... Our 2nd day of running Ceroc here and I met with the Prime Minister of NZ! No joke! She said she hadn't heard of Ceroc before but seemed suitably impressed with the demo we gave her. OK, OK, well, I had organised a demo at a very large shopping mall launch and I didn't realise the Prime Minister was going to be there at the time... but when she came by the part of the mall where we were just finishing our slot she asked for an encore and we were only too pleased to oblige and have a chat.  Can't wait to get some photos from the official photographer! Cool huh!?! |
