It's a BEST before date......it would also depend on whether you like smooth white sour cream or if you prefer it with chewy green flecky bits!

And also the note saying that the bottle has been designed specifically for their variety of water and should not be used for any other water (or something like that!). I.e. don't fill it up with tap water to reuse it! (I tend to ignore that one!)

Probably because of an overzealous and litigation-aware interpretation of Statuory Instrument 1996 No. 1499, AKA The Food Labelling Regulations 1996 and its subsequent amendments. A quick peruse suggests that mineral water isn't included in the list of foodstuffs that are specifically exempt from the need to bear a "best before" date.

Could happen... I don't drink often, but I find that several vodka and cokes will make me sick, whereas the equivalent quantity of vodka with tonic simply makes me drunk

I am still puzzled as to the vodka being around long enough to (potentially) go out of date
