Birds

I am getting so p&ssed off with the birds every morning. I know they are supposed to be comforting and lovely but for me they are a pain in the butt. 5am some feathery creature was sat on my windowsil and let out the most high pitched chirp i have ever heard. Its now gone 9 and its still chirping away. I have a cat but, he is too old to catch the damn thing. Sunday I thought I would have a lay in but, oh no pigeons. Woo hoo wo woo hoo i heard in the tree. Then his mate was on my windowsil and woo hooed back 10 times louder. There is one bird that just goes da ding da ding da ding all day. Oh and i had an owl in the tree last night from midnight til 2am.

Am i the only one that finds these feathery friends annoying.

Re: Birds

Hiya!!

Maybe its time to invest in a new younger, fitter feline... a nice new model with better bird catching capabilities... (you wanna borrow mine??)

Trade in the old moggy for a brand new one.... or on a more sensible note, get some earplugs. Think they may be noisier this time of the year as its spring and they are on the lookout for little mates to play with...
naughty little birdies.. (lucky little birdies)

wish you lots of luck, I hate missing out on sleep, it makes me very grumpy.....

Dunno, but I love the sound of birdsong, whatever time of day.

I suggest you throw the cage too.... magpies are rather large and you would have more chance of hitting them with a nice big cage....

I'd say 'dead' if she's thrown it at those evil magpies!

Re: Birds

Birds that reminds me i have some nesting in my eaves above my bedroom window. For the last two weeks they have woken me up around 6 am tweeting and putting nest material in the little hole that they made to get in there in the first place i'm thinking of getting some filler why don't they do it at 9am when no one is home

Poor you sis i know how you feel, you could always borrow Tay, he could gum the bird to death

Like the idea of throwing the hamster cage at them

Maybe if you put the hamster outside, the birds would eat it?

...just a thought.

The cage is outside everyday as it needs airing. There is not even a bird dropping near the cage when i bring it in.

Maybe it annoys the birds too so they keep away
