It was a great idea and the friends of Jim who turned up greatly appreciated it.  and I'm sure he would have appreciated it too. Big John was Mairi's demo and he did a good job too. Well done to the both of you.  |

Can only echo what the gents have said, lovely bloke with a sense of humour, a love for the dance and for the ladies of the dance  Jim was one of the first men I danced with as a very raw beginner and he was kind, helpful and friendly from the off. He will be missed. |

Jim was one of the first Glasgow men who asked Sheena + I to dance when we made our very first visit to Partick Burgh Halls in Glasgow many years ago! He was always a gentleman both on and off the dance floor. He will be sorely missed. Jim   Heather |
