Rep Power: 5 Rep.: 965 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Interesting qualifications on your CV Inspired by MsFabs note that her CEO was a morris dancer .... Years back I was advised that as many CVs in the IT and accountancy fields tend to be very similar, it makes sense to put something interesting down amid the usual boring rot to wake up the person reading it. My mate has on his CV, "Member of the Dennis the Menace Fan Club" and claims this has come up in interviews. My (succesfull?) addition under the 'Achievements' section was "Survived a Civil War". This has been discussed in most interviews I've had ... whereas my qualification as a Ceroc teacher sadly has not. Anything inetresting on your real (not imaginary) CV?

Rep Power: 2 Rep.: 324 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Interesting qualifications on your CV Ok, i've only got one job, and never had one before that, but I think it qualifies for one of the worst circles of hell, I have a boss that hates me, a 7am start on saturdays, and absolutely no interest in it whatsoever. One useless piece of information (that makes me sound really boring) that will not be going on my CV is that I was in 'the life club' in high school raising money, I was the oldest member, damn those extra caricular activites they were the best part of high school, I was in the student council and a prefect too, shame there wasn't more for me to do This is another bit of something I wrote in my personal statement for colleges/uni's: "One thing that I have been brought up to do is recycle and I take pride in this. I hope that it does make a difference. I feel that everyone should try and recycle as much as possible to help our planet." Ash-expert rambler Duh, if you've just read this |

![]() I'll try to work on asking nice, though niceness is not really in my nature... (*Stands back to allow the torrent of "yeah that"s through...*) Back on topic... I don't currently have it in my CV, but perhaps I should add "prize-winning poet" to my list of achievements.
