Something individual. Classy. Understated but beautiful.

Maybe even something I can pop a tea-light or a candle in.

Any forumites know of anywhere, or any websites where I could find such stuff??

I too can recommend her work - I was lucky enough to receive a piece of her work for my Birthday (as a present ) and have recently commissioned another for my Mum for her Birthday in July.

Oh b*gger! The preview is on Sunday 4/6, so I'll mis it, as I'll be dancing my socks off in Southport! ( ) But the exhibition will be on until the end of July, so plenty of time to go and have a look. Saying that, you'd better go there sooner rather than later, as (hopefully) the work will sell, so at the end of the show there might not be much left!

Oh dear, that website needs an update, as I think there is only one of those lizard pots still available for sale, and that's at a very exclusive (profits to charity!) gallery in Woodstock, near Oxford.

I concur with the comments about LM's work; failing that, next time you're in London, go to the Craft Potters Association shop and gallery at William Blake House in Marshall Street, just behind Carnaby Street.

Or if you know the name of a potter (who's work you like) exhibiting there, you could always contact them directly, and either commission something special, or at least get the work slightly cheaper than you'd get it for in the shop/gallery! Very sneaky, of course....
