That she has been proven to have taken part in photos for a 'hard core' pornographic book which was published in Germany. She can't deny this as copies of the book have come into the possession of the UK press
There are also rumours that she worked as a high class call girl for rich arab business men.

I feel sorry for Paul but 'There's no fool like an old fool' as they say !

This was all years ago, and has nothing to do with who she is now, her marraige, or anything else, and its nobody's business but hers either! Why can't everyone just leave the poor girl alone, OK, she married an extremely wealthy man, who's to say if that makes her a gold digger or just lucky enough to have fallen in love with someone in such a good position in life? Sir Paul isn't exactly whiter than white, oh he may be OK now he's found God and vegetarianism, but in his past he was a drug abusing womaniser who married a woman 25 years younger than him very soon after his wife died, it may not have been a financial success for him (although Heather Mills was already famous in her own right) but don't tell me he wasn't getting something out of it! He was even rumoured to have slept with both of John Lennon's wives!

Leave the poor girl alone, she never claimed to be Mother Theresa, and she certainly didn't marry the pope!

I agree, it's not particularly interesting to me - and hardly a shock that a model has done porn (it was a bit more than posing nekkid I think, but dunno the details, but I could force myself to do the research I suppose ).

Everyone loves Sir Paul, don't ask me why, but he's got a walk-on-water image, he's pretty much untouchable. So anyone who dares to divorce him is clearly Evil in the ongoing press narrative we see. And she clearly does do a lot of charidee work on an ongoing basis. And I'm uncomfortable with the misogynistic tone of some of the press articles, it's difficult to imagine a man being treated this way.

On the other hand, Mills is a bit of a spin doctor, and there've been rumours and allegations that she's done a bit of a Jeffrey Archer in terms of her official biography - e.g. pretending to do stuff she hasn't. So she's got a bit of form in the area of talking about her past.

I think its a kinda funny situation though - any woman (or man?) who strips off for financial gain has got to realise it will come back to perhaps haunt her (or him?) later.

Yes, people who are in the public eye have a "responsibility" to entertain or educate the public. But 24/7? Even my boss gives me a day off occasionally, and rather than rejoicing in other peoples' misfortunes, it would be considerate of the media to leave 'em alone for a couple of days if they are obviously trying to get away from it all owing to going through a bad patch.

EDIT: Seems to me that there was no interest in HM's past until there was the oppportunity to kick her while she was down. How sordid and shameful.

Of course, the leave 'em alone policy does *not* apply to celebrities who are happily appearing on chat shows or giving Hello interviews to share their traumas with the world (Get over yourself Jennifer Aniston)

A guy would probably be thought to be a bit of a stud, bit of a lad and it would enhance his reputation no end. Unfortunately, it doesn't work the same way for a woman. Not sure if it ever will. Heather Mills has certainly fallen from grace - Madonna vs. whore - things never change!

I hope she has no regrets - she certainly hasn't done anything wrong even if she's getting castigated by the media. She's probably being attacked now as it's open season since she split from Paul. (I was going to put "getting it in the neck" but thought that might be a little too, um, appropriate, depending on exactly what those photos might show! )

Yeah, she has really "suffered" , didnt she sell her story right after her accident and her rise has been continous since then. Where would all the poor disabled people be without heather mills suffering on their behalf
The author Sue Townsend of the Adrian Mole books is completely blind due to diabetes and has not mentioned her "suffering" despite being in the public eye too.

This person really doesnt like her .

Of course, maybe Ive got the wrong impression of her so far. Its easy to cheery pick arrogant sounding quotes if thats what you're looking for
