Warning : Do not do housework in bare feet !

Was happily getting the flat in order for my French teacher coming round and whacked my foot against the leg of the bed whilst Hoovering. It was bleeping sore at the time and then it got worse to the point I couldn't walk. Went to hospital just to check it out and now have one wee broken toe and crutches to skip about on.

Great excuse for not doing my homework though

I was looking forward to being an Old Git next year but a Stupid Old Git just doesn't have the same ring to it !

Your feet are precious - be good to them and get a cleaning lady. mmmm.... remember seeing naked cleaning men in Eurotrash once - think I'll get one of them

Well, of course ! I wouldn't want to take them to hospital if anything happened to them - they could get arrested

I don't know if I'd let them loose with the hoover either come to think of it

Don't feel like a stupid old git just yet though.

Another Wendy was doing gardening a few weeks ago and broke her foot. She is on crutches too. The crango could be in demand sooner than you think. Maybe it could be a fun category in September comp?

Ouch.. hope you get better and up dancing again soon.. as for the Eurotrash naked male cleaners? The were called the "romeo cleaners" or something like that and were the oddest looking pair of people you were ever likely to see.

.. they even make me look normal !

Household furniture is dangerous stuff! I was attacked and bitten by a coffee table on wednesday - it was an unprovoked attack and I lost

My little toe is black and blue and I've been limping about.

the most common broken bone in the body is the little toe, think how many times you stub it on something the sofa, bed, table door frame..... though my dad did the funniest one put on a pair of trousers went end over apex and broke his little toe I was in pain.....laughing

House hold furniture and lego are the barefooted house cleaners nemisis!!

I hope you get better soon and you can start dancing again

To be honest, I'm still not sure whether I broke it or not. I was dancing

in bare feet at a party at home a few years back, and I twisted my ankle. My ankle was fine, but my little toe went right under me, and I couldn't walk properly on it for a couple of days. It did turn blue, and it hasn't looked quite right since. Will never forget the pain though!

I never did see a doctor about it, because what can they do anyway?

What do you lot reckon? Do you think I might have broken it?

possibly or dislocated. What do you mean "hasn't looked write since?" does it stick out? have lumps where there were none before?

Well it swelled right up and sort of curled under more. It's still out of shape.

Yes they do Marc seems to have a problem with mine, especially when he does his 'corpse' impression

Did something similar a few years back. Not that I was cleaning or anything but I figured the couch would move out of my way which it didn't. The only fracture I have had so far - yeah, surprises me too - was a toe from kicking the couch. Thick bandage did keep it out of trouble, though. But yes, it is painful. Hope your toe is getting better soon!

And for those of you who were wondering why I was cleaning under the bed ? I have to be honest and say I really am not very houseproud so only clean when people are coming round. I get a one-hour French lesson every week from a fellow female dancer so the hoover comes out before I tackle my homework. It really is rather dull but in my next life I'm going to have a gorgeous diet coke French teacher and I promise to tell you all about it
