Rep Power: 4 Rep.: 11  | smilies I'm used to typing those little acronym smilies used so much in email - eg g,d&r - for grin, duck and run - but they seem to go missing when the post appears - is this cos I'm enclosing them in angle brackets? Is everything in angle brackets deleted? |

any text enclosed in angle brackets disappears. It is not deleted, but rather not shown, as the forum software treats it as html. the best thing to do is to use different brackets (or none at all).
