Log-In Glitch on Home Page

When I go to the home page and log-in I get the usual "thank you for logging in" message, but then the refreshed screen make it look like I have not logged in.

However if I navigate to another page on the forum all is well and I am logged in.

What browser are you using? Anything unusual?

I got this EXACT same problem.. but when I was attempting to log in on my mobile phone.

it would validate the login ok.. then give you the "thank you for logging on Beowulf1970" message then you could go no further...

I figured it was just because i was using a mobile phone which obviously didn't support a web browser that the forum caters for !

(Now a WAP link would be cool )

Re: Log-In Glitch on Home Page

The "thank you ..." page uses some clever javascript to load the next page – buggy browsers can produce either of the behaviours described above.

The first problem is probably the result of over-zealous caching by the browser. A reload should fix it.

The second problem can be worked around by clicking on the "Click here ..." link.
