Interesting question. 65535 is 2^16 – 1, and would be the result of a coerced conversion of -1 to a signed 16-bit integer.

This suggest that for some reason the forum thinks you have "-1" unread PMs.

I wonder if someone sending you a PM would fix it...

Bizarrely, today it is 65534, but the number didn't change when I did actually receive and read a PM.
