If the emails are not in an Exchange message store then they will be stored in .pst files on your hard disk, you can simply copy these files around. |

Are you connected to an Exchange server (e.g. at work)? If you are then by default your message store is on the server and is not local, you have to configure yourself for remote/offline working and then you will get a local .pst file.Try right clicking and then 'Properties' at the top level of your mailbox tree (View | Navigation Pane), the properties in there will tell you where your .pst file is if you're using one. | |

Rep Power: 2 Rep.: 158 ![]() | Re: How to save outlook emails onto external hard drive You could use 'Personal Folder Backup' from microsoft Download details: Outlook 2003/2002 Add-in: Personal Folders Backup This lets you take a copy of your folder and put it where you want, it can also be set to do it on a regular basis. If you want to change the location of the original pst file, Skype me tonight and I'll talk you through it hugs McJester |
