Reputation Total: 958   | Wifi and outgoing mail Now that I'm online in my nomadic life through the wonders of WiFi, hit a problem. Was going to configure Outlook express to my email account, then got stumped when I came to enter my SMTP server. As I can be using anyone of several providers, what do I enter?

Although many ISP's SMTP servers allow outgoing mail access from off their own networks if you have some kind of SMTP authentication set up - so you could pick one one ISP and stick with that, regardless of your method of connection. Does that help? | |
