Urgent Pc Problem!!

Help please someone!!

Lucia has just called me, she needs some computer help urgently.

She has lost her internet access this morning (Page not displayed etc..)
She's been told she should go to the Microsoft website and do a DUN component rebuild (whatever that is ).

She has no internet access though.

Is there anybody out there who could help her over the phone? Please PM me if you can and I'll pass on your number to her.


If she can't get back on-line by this afternoon she will go and buy a new PC! SO it's now or never if you think you can help.

Her current PC has a broken disc drive anyway, so she uses email to send her work from the office, so she can work from home for the rest of this week. Well that was her plan.

She has Tiscali broadband and she has windows XP.

There must be a Tiscali helpline 0870 number - most broadband sites have them - error codes from their web site - have just done a google search and found details below - hope that helps and I am not a geek !

Error codes
Error 619: The port is disconnected
Error 629: The port was disconnected by the remote machine
Error 631: The port was disconnected by the user
Error 633: The port is already in use or is not configured for Remote Access
Error 645: Internal authentication error
Error 650: The Remote Access server is not responding
Error 651: Your modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error
Error 678: There is no answer
Error 680: No dial tone
Error 691: Access denied because username and/or password is invalid on the domain
Error 718: PPP timeout
Error 721: Remote PPP peer is not responding
Error 797: The modem could not be found
