I really don't know anything about it, so i thought i'd start a thread for people to give advice and explain to a simple gal how to use it.  I figured it'll be easier than reading all the bumpf.

BTW Its really lame to use MSN messanger - gaim or trillian would be a less resource hungry, less annoying alternative that will both work with ALL major chat formats - why limit yourself to just your other lame messenger friends
