Is this not a case, particularly when it would appear that the plaintiff is appearing under an assumed name, that firm documentary and attested evidence should be forthcoming, ideally with photographs or witness statements from those present at the alleged birth? The court will also have noticed that so far the plaintiff has failed to complete the elementary task of entering in his profile the year of his alleged birth. This may or may not be suspicious, and no firm conclusion may be drawn from it, but it does suggest a rather cavalier approach to the facts as required. My birthday felicitations must therefore be heavily caveated, given the paucity of known facts. With this in mind, and subject to retraction should the claimed facts prove false, may I extend to my learned friend my congratulations on achieving another milestone in his life. |
