Thanks to all for the lovely birthday wishes, I had a very fine time abroad for the weekend with old friends and meeting and making a few new ones!
Isn't Emma Clarke looking svelte these days??? And aren't I relieved and delighted to have found out that Witty Bird isn't NEARLY as scary in the flesh

Lovely day Saturday being touristy at Hampton Court and yes, of course we did the maze. Saturday night at Twyford was nice, good venue and music for the latin lovers. Great to see Mr and Mrs Cosby-Cooper looking so well and smiley, family life must be agreeing with them. Just for badness I have to report my first refusal in years, from the second random chap I asked, he was sitting doing nothing but that was obviously preferable to a burl with me LOL, quite amusing really.

Sunday was another super day with a big brunch in the sun and then a chance to try and get a grip with some Paul Warden (and Cat of course) WCS at Bisley.
(for the record - started pretty much on time and I found him educational, entertaining, enthusiastic and approachable, just an opinion though

Thanks to all my lovely traveling companions (including YodaTom)who did all the organising last month, Hanked, Rogered AND Queened in the one weekend, what more could a birthday girl ask for ?

I hope everyone has a marvelous time at Southport next weekend, my crappy old back and I shall retire to the bosom of the family and open all my lovely pressies!

Look forward to catching up with some East Coast chums at Lorreen's Charity Day in a fortnight.
