Agree absolutely and it's how I normally dance but very difficult to explain that to someone else

Both N&N's workshops and Adam have covered this very well and David and Lily covered this at Perth on Satruday and did it very well by using a range of tracks to explain tempo and breaks.

ps

All the very best in Australia D & L.

Re: Listening for the beat

Just like to thank everyone for the great responses. The Perth Weekend workshops has opened up so many paths to follow.

We all make errors in the directions we take whilst learning. This forum and the workshops helps you develop in a way that makes it great fun to learn. Imagine having to stick to just beginners moves for a year and learn the basics. I am sure many professionals would probably say that is how you would really learn!! Nah its got to be fun exciting and er...stimulating

Thanks Guys
