Argentinian Tango in London

Can anyone recommendation any fun Tango weekends / London venues / teachers?

Richard and Eleonora (www.lamilongadelaluna.com) have taught at Hipsters - do any forumites know their monthly dances / weekends?

Re: Argentinian Tango in London

Quick couple of links: http://www.tangolondon.com/ and http://www.tangotango.org.uk/info (milonga on Saturday).

If you fancy a trip to the New Forest then http://www.tangouk.co.uk/ or http://www.tracieslatinclub.co.uk/ are well recommended.

Hi Peter

If you follow Neil's tangolondon link below you will get to a place called The Factory which runs excellent classes - including a monthly workshop for absolute beginners (usually on a Saturday afternoon). I don't know if that's the level you have in mind. I know they usually have a Sunday afternoon class for improvers and evening milonga, though. I haven't tried any other places so can't compare, but would happily recommend the Factory.

Many thanks. Does your recommendation extend to their POLE DANCING classes? I see they have a beginners workshop on Sat 16 Oct ...

Had you thought about : http://www.double-trouble.co.uk ?

Not quite jango (jive + tango) -- more like twing (tango + swing)
